When the Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan declared in a long statement that was brought out for a ceasefire, it was considered as Azerbaijan won the war.

Armenian inhabitant left Nagorno-Karabakh since November. With the most incredible sadness that they’ve never got in their life, many of them are now on their way to go to the “central Armenia”.

This war started in 1988. The Nagorno-Karabakh legislature, this place in the Azerbaijani territory had a special status. They were not exactly Azerbaijani and this year, they finished to come over the decision that they’ll join Armenia.

Of course, Azerbaijani administration was furious when they learned the news. But in 1991, Nagorno-Karabakh declared their independence. Then, 2 years later, Armenia was controlling Nagorno-Karabakh and occupied 20 percent of the Azerbaijani territory that was around. Then, Azerbaijan finished to declare war against Armenia.

This conflict endured for closed to 30 years. A PDF reconstituted the entire story about the conflict until 2003 last year when it was updated.

Many countries wanted this war to stop. France, Germany, Italy, the United States, the European Union and Russia have urged a ceasefire.

The “Washington Post” tried to observe the conflict during the lasts days and wondered how to call for a halt.

In July 12, the war restarted when Azerbaijan attacked Armenia a new time. The Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared in a statement having repulsed the Azerbaijani army.

Since, the war was getting stronger. French OSINT Hacker with the pseudonym named Rebecca Rambar on Twitter compiled many videos of this war from September 27 to … now and the shocking content is very present. I also made an unfinishable Thread on Twitter about the situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

During this gloomy period, both between the two different countries did not stop throwing serious accusations to each other. Then, Russia, who was, since the beginning of the conflict in July, on the Nagorno-Karabakh territory, suddenly decided to leave.

The fight continued … until November 12: Azerbaijan finished to ride out Armenia and won with Turkey’s help.

This is on Twitter that we learned the news first, from the Armenian PM, Nikol Pashinyan who took the decision to give in.

The Armenians people were shocked of the news and were crying. The majority were, of course, the Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh. The war was over, they had to leave.

But many of them left their home after burning it “not to let anything to Azerbaijan who will come after them”. Some of them have even been digging up their ancestor.

Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia signed a peace deal for the end of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Some Armenians people got the possibility to get back to Nagorno-Karabakh then.

Is this conflict finally ending after close to 30 years ? I’m not 100% sure that the Armenian will really be in peace, but this deal could give to the Armenians a new force that they have never had for their generation. Armenia saw many war on their territory and now, they can’t take it anymore.
