Glue, a social network that is sticked on my mind

Glue’s logo social media

A month ago, I was spending some time on Product Hunt when suddenly, I saw Glue in my recommendations.

If you may know me well, I like to test new apps and platforms. I decided to set up an account to find out what’s it about.

This network, founded by Noah Everett, an American programmer is still under “construction”. At the moment we can only share a picture per Post, but it owns a particularity : it respects your privacy !

But let’s start by the beginning : What is Glue ?

Glue is a social network that runs on its website, (there’s no apps on IOS or Android) and allow us to share a post. We can add a picture, an audio, a voting category and also write as a blog (a bit like here, on Medium).

This is how Glue looks like

But that’s not all. In a text written on June 30, it said Glue provides an easy way to share content and connect with others while respecting user’s privacy and data.

As it sounds like a mix of Twitter and Facebook style, it may likely be closer to Twitter due to the like button (at the middle) and the ripple one (which is basically a retweet) on the right.

At the moment, there nothing left to write about it. Glue got launched so recently that we don’t have access to a large number of functionalities, but Noah Everett will continue to add more of them and sharing updates about Glue.
